    Racing at the 2013 Finn Gold Cup resumed today and 23-year old Josh Junior has edged himself into the top ten for a start in tomorrow’s medal race. After a two day interruption due to light winds in the historic venue of Tallin the 86–strong fleet of Finn sailors in Estonia for the Finn class world championship regatta were back out on the water for the penultimate day of racing. Three races were sailed, the first discard came into effect and the standings have changed significantly.

    Racing got underway today in Kinsale for the Cork County Council IFDS World Sailing Championships in glorious sunshine after yesterday’s sailing was postponed due to light winds. Conditions were initially looking poor this morning and the competitors were held ashore. However after an hour of waiting the Race Committee lowered the postponement flag and the sailors headed out to the race course.
