When people take a bet with the TAB on any yachting regatta throughout the world a portion of every bet is returned to Yachting New Zealand to help grow and develop the sport in New Zealand.
With Emirates Team New Zealand winning the Louis Vuitton Cup last week the spotlight has now been thrust on the sport in what will be one of the toughest America’s Cup challenges yet. The TAB is proud to partner with Yachting New Zealand in taking betting on the event, which delivers increased revenue back to the sport.
Like Yachting New Zealand, the TAB is passionate about the sport and recognises its importance to New Zealand. By working with Yachting New Zealand the TAB is able to grow the number of yachting fans throughout New Zealand to help deliver increased revenue to the sport based on a betting grant. This grant means a percentage of every bet is returned to Yachting New Zealand, making the TAB the only betting agency in the world that is actively supporting yachting in New Zealand.
