How did you get into sailing?
I was introduced to sailing for the first time at a very young age as my family were quite into it, but the first time I sailed by myself was an Optimist holiday programme in San Francisco when I was 7.

What is your favourite food after a long day on the water?
A bowl of cereal is my go-to meal.

Where is your favourite place to sail?
Manly because of the conditions or Kohi cause it’s the local.

What is your favourite thing to do when not sailing?
Wingfoiling, hanging out with mates and playing squash.

Who are your role models?
A few of my role models are Nedd Brockmann, Blair Tuke and my grandad.

What is the best thing about sailing your youth class boat?
It is fast, exciting and tactical racing and I really enjoy having someone else on the boat that you have to work well with.

What was the proudest moment of your sailing to date?
Winning the 2023 youth trials because it had been a very long season with lots of training and it came down to the last race. I felt relieved as well as very excited.

What do you hope to achieve in sailing in the next 12 months?
I want to sail well at the youth worlds and then make the transition into the 49er, starting with sailing the FX over the summer.

How will you prepare for the 2023 youth sailing world championships?
By sailing pretty much every day once my exams are done.

What are your sailing career goals?
Keep sailing for my whole life and keep enjoying it and see where that ends up.
