How did you get into sailing?
My brother started sailing so it just made sense for me to give it a go.
What is your favourite food after a long day on the water?
Two butter chicken pies!
Where is your favourite place to sail?
Hawaii - it has beautiful water and sunshine.
What is your favourite thing to do when not sailing?
Gym or Netflix.
Who are your role models?
Barbara Kendall for everything she has achieved and how she always has full control of her mental state. [Retired US Navy Seal] David Goggins. The way he just pushes through and doesn't complain and his discipline is very admirable.
What is the best thing about sailing in your youth class?
Everyone is energetic and friendly and always keen to help out with anything.
What was the proudest moment of your sailing to date?
Winning my first race in a big regatta on the iQFOIL. It was so much joy and relief that all my work had finally paid off.
What do you hope to achieve in sailing in the next 12 months?
Win the next youth trials!
How will you prepare for the 2023 youth sailing world championships?
Eat, train and sleep - and do all of them well.
What are your sailing career goals?
Make the Olympics in iQFOIL and perhaps the SailGP or America's Cup.
