A Day Skipper Course will be held at Weiti Boating Club In Arkles Bay over two days, 29 October and 5 November. It is the club’s most popular course and the best one for those new to boating. The course applies to a wide range of vessels incluing yachts, launches, powerboats, jet skis, sea kayaks and waka.

Yachting New Zealand is on board with the Auckland On Water Boat Show this year offering show visitors the chance to try out sailing. 

New Zealand’s Paralympic sailing crew have finished Rio 2016 agonisingly close to the podium, drawn on points for third, but separated on countback to close the regatta in 4th place. 

Rio challenged the kiwi Sonar Parasailing crew currently competing at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games today with tricky, shifty conditions on the sailing course positioned under the spectacular Sugarloaf. 

The Tauranga Yacht and Power Boat Club is a yacht club that has had unparalleled sailing success at International level in recent times. It is a family based Club overlooking the entrance of the beautiful Tauranga Harbour. It is a Club which supports a strong cross-section of sailing from offshore keelboats, to trailer yachts and multihulls, through to a flourishing centreboard division. 

New Zealand’s Parasailing Sonar team are back into 3rd overall after three races sailed today in Rio at the 2016 Paralympic Games with competition now passed the halfway mark.
