The 2019 Millennium Cup is raced under the ORC rating system and the ORC chief measurer Zoran Brubisa will be giving a presentation on the ORC rating systems (ORC international, ORC club and ORC superyacht) in Auckland prior to the Cup.
When: Tuesday, January 29, 2019 - 6pm
Where: NZ Marine, 85 Westhaven Drive, Auckland
The presentation will explain the workings and principles of this rating system, how boats are measured and rated and how ORC events are scored. There will be the opportunity to ask questions and get a better understanding of the details involved with this rating rule.
Brubisa is a naval architect and has been ORC chief measurer since 2017. He is also chairman of the ORC rating officers committee and chairman of the technical committee on ORC championship events from 2016–18.
