Find out more about cruising in the Pacific Islands during an informative evening next week at the Devonport Yacht Club.
Nigel and Amanda Richards from Island Cruising New Zealand will be at Devonport's Seatalks at 7.30pm on Thursday, March 19, where they'll provide information, resources and training for cruising sailors sailing up to the south-west Pacific.
The ICNZ Pacific circuit rally visits Tonga, Fiji, Vanuatu and New Caledonia during the winter months, exploring some very faraway places, tasting the local culture and some fabulous locations.
ICNZ provides support for sailors often embarking on their first offshore passage, predominantly to the Pacific, and then supports them during sailing rallies. They also take the hassle out of getting clearances into areas not normally available, which makes it attractive to even experienced sailors.
