New Zealand Keelboat National Championships 2019

The Organising Authority is Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron (RNZYS)
Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron supported by Yachting New Zealand and MRX Yachting Limited are excited to announce the return of the New Zealand Keelboat National Championships.
Entries are by invitation only. Entries will be offered to Regional Yachting Associations who can determine how they will select their team(s) to compete in the regatta. The winners of a number of other keelboat events will also be granted automatic entry.

Women's Keelboat Nationals Winner: Event to be held 5th-7th April 2019 at RNZYS
NZ Secondary Schools Nationals Winner: Event to be held 8th-10th March 2019 at RNZYS
**To be determined by the Regional Yachting association, in agreement with Yachting New Zealand.
If a spot is declined or not accepted before the deadline the invitational spot could be opened up to another class association crew, or additional crew from another region in agreeance with Yachting New Zealand.
Sailing crew must consist of 5 to 7 sailors and shall have a maximum weight of 525kg including the skipper.
Registration & Weigh in between 1400 and 1700 Thursday 25th April.
First briefing & boat draw 1700 Thursday 25th April.
Dates of Racing: Friday 26th April through to Sunday 28th April.
Boats will be available for a practice session after crews have registered on Thursday 25th April from 1430 until 1700.
