Using the unique code SAILPLUS Yachting NZ members will increase their discount to 15% off all public retail passenger and vehicle fares.
This increase discount is valid for bookings and travel up to 31 May 2025 (t&c's apply as per below)
For bookings and travel from up until 31 October 2026, enjoy a 10% discount. To get the discount the promo code SAILOR must be used at the time of booking and cannot be retrospectively added to an existing booking. Note: The discount excludes travel between the 15 December to 15 January annually.

Terms and conditions
- Yachting NZ members will save on all public retail passenger and vehicle fares when travelling with Bluebridge Cook Strait Ferries.
- The discount code SAILPLUS must be used at the time of booking and cannot be retrospectively added to an existing booking. Valid for bookings and travel up to 31 May 2025.
- The discount code SAILOR must be used at the time of booking and cannot be retrospectively added to an existing booking. Valid for bookings and travel up until 31 October 2026.
- The member discount applies to bookings made directly with Bluebridge, through the passenger website www.bluebridge.co.nz, via the Bluebridge Passenger Contact Centre, or at the Bluebridge Passenger Terminals. It is not applicable to STRAITNZ Bluebridge freight bookings or bookings made by third parties (affiliated Bluebridge resellers).
- Member discount is only eligible for bookings that include a minimum of one Yachting NZ cardholder, a maximum of six passengers per booking.
- Members must present their Yachting NZ membership card when they check-in as proof of entitlement. If not presented, the standard retail fares will be charged.
- Applies to fares only. Optional extras, such as cabins, premium lounge, excess baggage and food, are charged at standard retail prices.
- The discount is not available in conjunction with any other offer.
- Fares are always subject to availability at the time of booking.
- Public fares are dynamic and subject to daily changes.
- Payment must be made when booking via the following payment methods; Poli (bank transfer), debit/credit card and/or Afterpay.
- Standard Fare conditions as per the individual fare type booked will apply. All other standard Bluebridge Terms and Conditions apply.
- Bluebridge reserves the right to review these terms and conditions from time to time. The club will be notified of any changes and the changes will apply to any new or amended bookings made after the date of notification.
