    New Zealanders Jo Aleh and Polly Powrie, and Paul Snow-Hansen and Daniel Willcox have both won silver at the 2016 470 World Championships in San Isidro, Argentina. The two NZL Sailing Team crews put in an excellent medal race performance today to secure podium finishes in both the men’s and women’s championships.

    It’s all on for the NZL Sailing Team for the final day of the 2016 470 World Championships with New Zealand vying for medals in both the men’s and women’s divisions after a solid penultimate day.

    Paul Snow-Hansen and Daniel Willcox have relinquished their overall lead but go into the final day lying 2nd overall, while Jo Aleh and Polly Powrie have continued their climb through the standings to hold 3rd place with one day left.

    Meanwhile Alex Maloney and Molly Meech have finished the 2016 49erFX World Championships in 8th overall and in the 2016 Nacra 17 World Championship Gemma Jones and Jason Saunders have finished 14th overall ending on a high note with a 2nd place in today’s race.
