2023 Teams Sailing Umpire Seminar - 15 - 16th April

Yachting New Zealand in association with the New Zealand Team Sailing Association is facilitating a Teams Sailing Umpire Seminar in conjunction with the National Secondary Schools Teams Sailing Regatta (17-21 April, Algies Bay).
These seminars are suitable for anybody with a basic understanding of the rules or teams sailing. This seminar provides a great basis for umpiring at local events, and attendance is a prerequisite requirement in attaining Club or National Teams Racing Umpire Qualification.
An opportunity will be given to those who wish to sit the exam to gain Club/National Umpire Teams Racing status, with on-the-water practical assessments and evaluations occurring during the regatta.
Please note: this seminar is not intended for the school sailors unless they are in their final year and committed to umpiring in the future.
Experienced umpires who wish to revalidate need only attend day two. All seminar attendees are invited to come and umpire for the week at the 2023 Secondary Schools Teams Sailing National Championships.
