2019 Race Officers Conference- Saturday 31st August
Naval Point Club Lyttelton, Christchurch
The Race Officers Conference is a chance for accredited Club, National and International Race Officers to get together to discuss race management issues and promulgate best practice.
It is open for all Yachting New Zealand Club and National Race Officers and is a great chance to meet other race officers from around the country and discuss any issues/experiences you have encountered. The Course is being facilitated by Ian Clouston, International Race Officer.
For National Race Officers, attendance at the Race Officers Conference is an opportunity to revalidate their qualification (See Race Official pathways). There will be an opportunity for those who wish to revalidate to sit the Race Officers exam at the end of the conference.
There is no cost for the conference itself but all other costs (travel, accommodation, etc) will need to be met by the attendees. Yachting NZ will provide tea/coffee and lunch on the day and will organise transport to/from the airport for those who need it.
Registrations close Sunday 25th August.
The programme for the day will depend on the topics people request so please include any topics or questions you would like to discuss.
