Sail to Kawau Bay Kawau Bay and sail/race home on Sunday.
GHYC Cruising races involve minimal or no windward sailing and no extras (spinnakers or gennakers) can be used. The races are designed for short-handed sailing and to give some competition to those who want it on the way to the club’s destination.
To be part of these weekends away you do not need to race, nor do you have to depart at the same time or even the same day. Just turn up at the designated beach in your yacht or launch, and join in the early evening BBQ on shore.
This event is inclusive of sailors with a disability.
