The wind won the day at San Francisco when Day 7 racing of 34th America's Cup was postponed until tomorrow. With an ebb tide of a strong 2.7 knots the wind limit at the start time was 20.3 knots.

Wellington Ocean Sports will be running a Coastal Medic course over the weekend of 16 and 17 November. This course offers participants the qualifications of Coastguard Boating Education Service Marine Medic (Coastal), NZQA units 6400, 6401, 6402 and Maritime New Zealand commercial first aid. It should be a prerequisite for anyone involved in ocean sports.
