- Weta has reached 1000 boats! With a lot of hard work Roger and Chris Kitchen have achieved something to be proud of. We would like to give a big thank you to our dealers and of course our first 1000 owners who have made the Weta journey such good fun. We are looking forward to the next 1000!

- The call is out for volunteers for the 2015 Auckland Stopover. Ruth Tuiraviravi, Head of Volunteers, is on the search for a bumper crew of helpers to volunteer to be a part of the Auckland Stopover experience.
- The dates are set – Registration January 20, 2015 Tuesday – then three days of fabulous racing in the Bay of Islands.

- Representing New Zealand in the SL16 multihull class at the 2014 ISAF Youth Sailing World Championships are Micah Wilkinson and Jack Rogers.
- The Laser European Championships, my final event for the first overseas trip of 2014 has just wrapped up here in Croatia. After a week of very tough weather conditions to get many races completed, the regatta was finished with only six out of the scheduled twelve races being sailed. I can’t remember the last major event I did where we had so few races, but it really makes you realize that anything can happen in sailing and you have to be on top of your game from race one in the Championships.
