  • The final regatta of the 2013-14 season of the ISAF Sailing World Cup is underway with great conditions for day one of racing in Hyeres, France today. The NZL Sailing Team has made a solid start leading in both the 49er and the Women’s RS:X, and lying 2nd in the Women’s 470.

  • New Zealand has won a mass of medals at the RYA Youth National Championships Regatta which wrapped up on Friday 18th April in Weymouth, UK. The contingent of young kiwis collected one gold, two silver and two bronze medals across the range of skiff, double-handed and single-handed classes.

  • Day three of the Toyota National Optimist Championships started well with a 10-12 knot breeze but as predicted the breeze built throughout the morning and by lunchtime the skies darkened and we were treated to an intense squall of rain and wind peaking at 36 knots.

  • This regatta was held at Pauri Lake near Wanganui on Saturday in overcast breezy conditions. Six schools took part from Okoia, Westmere, Fordell, Kaitoki, Wanganui Intermediate and St Georges. Sailing in teams of three Optimists.
