- Yachting New Zealand is delighted to announce the selection of twelve young sailors to represent New Zealand at the prestigious 2014 ISAF Youth Sailing World Championship Regatta. Tavira, on the south west coast of Portugal will play host to the 2014 ISAF Youth Sailing World Championship which runs from 12th – 19th July this year.
- Kiwis get the chance to see the new one-design boat which will be used by all teams in the Volvo Ocean Race 2014-15 when Dongfeng Race Team sail into Auckland next month.
- It really is the final countdown now to the Jack Tar Auckland Regatta for 2014. 77 boats are in, across nine divisions and three race courses. Sailing instructions are online now.
- With only two weeks to go to the start of the next to last stage of the ISAF Sailing World Cup, the number of registered nations up to now has been exceeded
- Britomart, Auckland’s leading commercial, retail and entertainment development, has joined with Emirates Team New Zealand for the Extreme Sailing Series.
- A lot can happen in 80 days, you can go around the world, or you can get on a boat for the ANZ Sail Fiji race! The Royal Akarana Yacht Club race, starting on Saturday 7th June at 1300 hours, is set to be one of the largest offshore international events to leave New Zealand waters in over 20 years.
