Five marinas were certified under the Clean Marina program at the New Zealand Marina Operators Association in Wellington this month, reflecting a sea-change in the way the industry approaches environmental care.
As the 2015 Mini Transat fleet depart France at the start of this year’s race, Kiwi sailor Cory McLennan has officially announced his intention to represent New Zealand in the 2019 Mini Transat. McLennan made the announcement at the official launch ceremony of his yacht B&G Racing on Friday 11 September, at Westhaven Marina in Auckland.

On the 6th of September, Pleasant Point Yacht Club in Christchurch opened for our 95th season of sailing on the Estuary and our third season at our new location in South New Brighton Park, about 600m across from our earthquake wrecked Rat Island site beside the South New Brighton Bridge.
Entries for the Yachting New Zealand Youth Trials being held 6th-10th October at Murrays Bay Sailing Club close on the 30th September.
