Yachting New Zealand would like to introduce you to two new team members who you might be speaking to over coming months.

Danika Mowlem came on board with Yachting New Zealand in July taking over the Programmes and Services Coordinator role from Stuart Thomas. (Stuart is now our Youth Coordinator).
Danika is responsible for the coordination of our Volvo Sailing… Have a Go!, NCEA and SailSafe programmes as well as Judging and Race Management Seminars and training and qualifications.
With the start of the Volvo Sailing… Have a Go! season fast approaching Danika is busy with calendar planning, equipment and vehicle preparation and staff training to deliver another quality summer of the popular programme for 8 to 12 year olds.
Julie Sutherland is new to the Yachting New Zealand team as of last week and takes on the role of Member Card Coordinator.
In an effort to provide more value to our affiliated club and your members, Yachting New Zealand is introducing a Member Card and smartphone app and Julie will be managing the roll-out of the card initiative.
Valued team member Kristine Horne has been managing this project to date, however she will shortly be heading off on maternity leave.
The Member Card and app are free for all affiliated clubs who have provided their membership details to Yachting New Zealand, and both contain benefits for your club and your members. They allow individuals to demonstrate the clubs affiliation to the national body as well as access to Member Benefits from Yachting New Zealand’s partners. In addition, this new card can be used as a Club Member Card.
