- New Zealand has won gold in the 49er and silver in the 49erFX at the Olympic Sailing Test Event (Aquece Rio – International Sailing Regatta 2014). With the Women’s 470 set to wrap up tomorrow and New Zealand currently lying 2nd the NZL Sailing Team are in good shape for a three medal haul.
- New Zealand now leads in the Women’s 470 and 49er events, and is 2nd in the 49erFX as the Olympic Sailing Test Event (Aquece Rio – International Sailing Regatta 2014) rolls towards its conclusion in Rio, Brazil.
- On the eve of the Aquece Rio International Sailing Regatta 2014, the first Rio 2016 test event, a group of specialists have explained the measures being undertaken to ensure that water quality in Guanabara Bay is suitable for top-level competition, as well as outlining the longer-term initiatives that will improve the bay for the city's residents.

- Hyères, France and Weymouth, Great Britain have been named as the European venues for the 2015 ISAF Sailing World Cup series.
