  • Murrays Bay Sailing Club (MBSC) hosted the Windsurfing Nationals over ANZAC weekend. 34 Sailors raced in the RS:X, Techno,  Kona and Raceboard classes. It is the first time in recent history that centreboard windsurfers had sailed in one regatta.

  • At the close of day two 2016 Sailing World Cup Hyeres the NZL Sailing Team are in the top two in three events, with a total of nine kiwi crews placed within the top ten.

    While day one produced top end conditions, with capsizes, rig and boat damage across the fleets, today things turned around and the sailors faced the challenge of a no wind delay, followed by a shifty building breeze.

Peter Burling and Blair Tuke, Jo Aleh and Polly Powrie, and Josh Junior all out-performed their rivals today and sit atop their respective leader boards after day one of the five day regatta.
