  • Kohimarama Yacht Club had a well attended Prize Giving recently with many of the sailors receiving a well deserved cup or trophy. Kohi always makes a fun evening of it with pizzas for the sailors and nibbles and drinks for the parents following the prize-giving.

  • The 2013 Central Triangle Race starts from Wellington on 2nd March 2013 with the first leg of 195 nautical miles to Akaroa. Leg two takes the fleet 350 nautical miles north to Napier with the final 205 nautical mile leg taking the fleet back to Wellington.

  • Evolution Sails  Sail Noumea 2012 officially ended after 8 days, 1 hours, 32 minutes and 53 seconds when Iolanthe II crossed the finish line in Noumea on the 10th of June just after 3pm NZST.

  • NZL Sailing Team Laser Sailors Andy Maloney and Sam Meech are currently sailing at the last of the 2011/2012 ISAF Sailing World Cup regattas at Kiel, Germany, and will be heading into the final medal races overnight Wednesday, NZT.

  • After 150 days of racing around the planet, Conrad Colman and Scott Cavanough have taken first place in Leg 5 of the double-handed, Class40 Global Ocean Race (GOR) and have also won the circumnavigation event overall with their Akilaria RC2 Cessna Citation.
