- The 58th Annual General Meeting of Yachting New Zealand will be held on Saturday 13th October 2012. Notice of any resolution and/or nomination to be proposed at the AGM shall be sent to the CEO not later August 24th.

The Coastal Classic originated 31 years ago, as a drag race between Devonport Wharf in Auckland, and Russell Wharf in the Bay of Islands, 119 nautical miles up the coast.

- From David Abercrombie: Could I ask that you take the time to read and support this amazing project with a submission before September 11th. This new space has the potential to be a world class training and competition venue for yachting, triathlon, ocean swimming, kayaking, Waka-ama, and many other marine based sports.
- Nominations will be accepted in eight categories for the 2012 Yachting Excellence Awards, and these must be submitted to YNZ by 31 August 2012. This is a great opportunity to recognize not only the best performers in our sport, but also the tireless, hardworking volunteers.
