  • The Board of Directors of the Auckland to Bluff Ocean Race have decided to postpone the inaugural sailing of the race. Since the Race was announced in December 2012, there has been considerable interest in this major new ocean race, which has been dubbed as New Zealand’s version of the ‘Sydney to Hobart’ race.

  • The NZL Sailing Team with ETNZ, sponsored by Rodd & Gunn, made a clean sweep with two race wins on day three of the Red Bull Youth America’s Cup breaking away from the pack and opening an 11 point lead in the standings.

  • The NZL Sailing Team with ETNZ remain at the top of the leader board after another gripping day of close encounter racing at the Red Bull Youth America’s Cup on now in San Francisco. On 28 points they share the top spot with the Michael Menninger led American Youth Force Sailing Team. Behind them teams placed back as far as 7th in the standings are just three points off the leaders.

  • Racing at the 2013 Finn Gold Cup resumed today and 23-year old Josh Junior has edged himself into the top ten for a start in tomorrow’s medal race. After a two day interruption due to light winds in the historic venue of Tallin the 86–strong fleet of Finn sailors in Estonia for the Finn class world championship regatta were back out on the water for the penultimate day of racing. Three races were sailed, the first discard came into effect and the standings have changed significantly.
