- All crews to Jack Tar! We are breaking from tradition. The inimitable Jack Tar at Wynyard Quarter will be hosting the annual Beach Party that is the hallmark of the Auckland Regatta. It's another reason to take part in this fantastic event.

- Volvo National Sailing and Boating Day attracted an excellent turn out at Wellington’s Heretaunga Boating Club, where they ran a very successful Open Day from the clubrooms on Petone Beach.
- Emirates Team New Zealand has ended the Extreme Sailing Series Singapore regatta in fourth place.
- The final leg of the NZL Yachting Trust supported Round North Island Two Handed Race is drawing to a close. However for the leading two yachts the battle will go all the way to the line. With both overall Line Honours and handicap prizes on the line there is plenty to play for.
- The first seminar for ANZ Sail Fiji will kick off on Thursday 13th March at 7pm at the host club location, Royal Akarana Yacht Club.
