  • The Open Finn European Championships stalled on the fourth day with no more races on the board despite spending four hours on the water trying. With two days to go and a maximum of four fleet races and the medal race to go Josh Junior (NZL) leads from Zsombor Berecz (HUN) and Pieter-Jan Postma (NED) in the 90 boat fleet.

  • New Zealand’s Josh Junior has hit the lead at the 2016 Finn European Championships after three days of racing in Barcelona, Spain.

    With race four of the regatta finally getting underway around 3pm local time, only one race was possible for the 90 boats vying for the European crown in the Olympic heavy-weight dinghy.

This October, they will battle the planet’s top young sailors in the first-ever World Final.
