Top-three sailing achievements:
2025 youth champion.
2025 ILCA youth national champion.
2024 Governor's Cup (4th overall).

How did you first get into sailing?
I got into sailing through my parents, who were both yachties and loved being on the water. When my siblings started sailing, I got dragged along to the boat park. Eventually, I got tired of just watching them, so I started Learn to Sail at Murrays Bay Sailing Club at the age of four - and I’ve been sailing ever since.

What is the best thing about sailing your class?
The tight racing the ILCA produces - it's the best racing I've experienced at both national and international events. I also love how technical the boat is and how much technique matters.

Where is your favourite sailing spot?
Newport Beach, California, USA.

What is the proudest moment of your career so far?
Winning the Youth Trials was really special. Both my sister and brother had qualified, so being up there with them made it even better. It also meant going to my first ever Youth Worlds.

What are you hoping to achieve in the next 12 months?
I hope to get a strong result at Youth Worlds, which will help me build toward aiming for a medal at the ILCA Worlds and Youth Worlds next year.

What is your long-term sailing goal?
To try and win a World Championship and, eventually, compete at the Olympics.

Who are your role models?
Tom Saunders and Greta Pilkington.

What do you do when you're not sailing?
Cycling, and hanging out with friends and family.

And your favourite food?
Pasta.

What is your dream destination?
Oslo, Norway.

How have you been preparing for the Youth World Championships?
A combination of on-water training, gym sessions, and maintaining the right diet to optimise performance leading up to the regatta.
