You do need to register to attend, and because places are limited so register soon. All Race Officers, Judging and Umpiring courses are free!
- The 2012 Evolution Sails Sail Noumea race starts on Saturday 2nd June from Waitamata Harbour in Auckland and will end in tropical Noumea, New Caledonia.
Boat owners with a 2011/2012 handicap (IRC or PHRF) should have received a revalidation package in the mail, as all handicaps expire on 31st May.

Nine sailors will represent New Zealand at the prestigious ISAF Youth Sailing World Championships to be sailed at Dublin Bay Ireland 12-21 July 2012

- A record number of entries for this Sunday’s Young 88 regatta, to be hosted by the Royal Akarana Yacht Club.
- Yachting New Zealand will again be at the Hutchwilco NZ Boat Show, 17 – 20 May at the ASB Showgrounds, Auckland.
The Semaine Olympique Francaise ISAF Sailing World Cup regatta in Hyeres came to a close on April 28th with two of the NZL Sailing Team on the podium.
The Kiwi-Australian duo of Conrad Colman and Scott Cavanough took first place in Global Ocean Race (GOR) Leg 4 from Punta del Este, Uruguay, to South Carolina with Akilaria RC2 Class40 Cessna Citation, crossing the finish line off Charleston at 05:45:00 GMT (01:54:00 local) last Tuesday
