  • The Kristin School team of Leonard Takahashi, Sam Hassall, Rory McCutcheon and Oscar Gunn have won the 2014 Harken Schools Regatta. 15 year old Takahashi improved his results on the water today winning the Gold Fleet with a total of 16 points, after qualifying yesterday in 5th place overall. “We had a difficult day yesterday but today the whole team improved and everything just went our way. All the competitors were really good and the racing was very close.”

  • Adam Middleton, Michael Cook and William Eastman sailing for Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club have convincing won the 2014 CentrePort International Youth Match Racing Championships. Over four days of racing the team dropped only one match in a dominant all round performance across a range of conditions.

  • After three days of racing in the Line 7 Marine Port Nicholson Regatta Brian Cowper and his crew on Bacchante were crowned the winners of the Ross Telford Memorial Trophy along with winners of the National PHRF Division B Championship title, while Jamie McDowell and his crew on Black Diamond took out the National PHRF Division A Championship title.
