Sailability Taranaki launch new Access dinghies

Issue date

Sailability Taranaki launched four new 303 Access dinghies and an inflatable rescue boat on Sunday 3rd March with a large group turning out to have a go.

The day was a huge success with the Waitara Boating Club venue producing a nice breeze, flat water and great viewing for the parents and public, and a steady flow of participants.

Sailability Taranaki will now be setting up the programs that will best get the sailors through a learn to sail course and into the Waitara Boating Club’s sailing program.

Two of the new 303s are sponsored by the Taranaki Electricity Trust, the other two by the TSB Community Trust, the inflatable by Methanex, the lifting crane by Warner Construction, the lifting harnesses by John Reumers Trim & Upholstery and delivery of the boats from Auckland to Waitara by Regal Transport, thanks to them all.
