Yachting New Zealand and the New Zealand Multihull Yacht Club are working together to make it easier for entrants of the PIC Coastal Classic to gain the necessary Cat 3 safety certification.

Yachting New Zealand are looking to run a Cat 3 inspection day from 8am on Saturday September 29, with an inspector available at Westhaven Marina. The cost of the inspection will be $150 (inc gst), saving boat owners an average of $100.
If a boat fails the inspection on this day, it will go into the regular system and an inspector would need to be rebooked. Please note, Yachting New Zealand require a minimum of 10 boats for this special price and dedicated day to go ahead.
