    In an effort to provide more value to Yachting New Zealand affiliated clubs and their members, we are introducing a Member Card and smartphone app. The card and app will be free for all affiliated clubs, and both contain benefits fort the club and its members. They allow individuals to demonstrate the club’s affiliation to the national body as well as access to Member Benefits from Yachting New Zealand’s partners.

    Egor Terpigorev (RUS) is featured on the cover of the August edition of FINNFARE, the magazine of the International Finn Class. He was taking part in a Rule 42 clinic held in Valencia before the Finn Silver Cup (Junior World Championship).  Though too old to compete in the Silver Cup, he went on to represent Russia at the Aquece Rio Olympic test event in August.

    Jo Aleh and Polly Powrie have won bronze in the Women’s 470 at 2015 Rio Test Event today adding another medal to the gold secured by Peter Burling and Blair Tuke in the 49er class yesterday.

    Another two top five finishes were added to the New Zealand results today with Josh Junior in the Finn class, and Gemma Jones and Jason Saunders in the Nacra 17 both finishing 5th overall.

    One year out from the Olympic Games, Peter Burling and Blair Tuke have won the Gold medal at 2015 Rio Test Event easily securing victory with a 4th in today’s 49er medal race.

    New Zealand’s 49erFX crew of Alexandra Maloney and Molly Meech have finished just outside the medals in 4th overall, while tomorrow Jo Aleh and Polly Powrie will go into the Women’s 470 medal race lying 3rd overall.
