The regatta is open to all boats of the OK Dinghy and Finn class that comply with their respective class rules. 

To be eligible to compete in this event each competitor shall be a financial member of a club recognised by the competitor’s national authority. Each competitor shall be a financial member of their respective New Zealand Class Association or a National Association recognised by the International Class Association. Proof of membership must be provided at registration.
