How did you first get into sailing?
I started kitesurfing when I was seven, thanks to my parents. I kept it up throughout school and later got into kitefoiling and wingfoiling. After about a year of wing racing, I switched to Formula Kite full-time.

What is the best thing about sailing your class?
It's very fast and exciting, and you can sail it almost anywhere in the world.

Where is your favourite sailing spot?
Queenstown - it offers great thermal winds and perfectly flat water.

What is the proudest moment of your career so far?
Competing at the French Olympic Week in Hyères. It made me really proud of how far I've come in my sailing.

Who is your role model?
Ricardo Pianosi, Lukas Walton-Keim, and Peter Burling.

What do you do when you're not sailing?
Play golf, tennis, or the guitar.

And your favourite food?
Anything, but probably pasta.

What is your dream destination?
Cape Town.

How have you been preparing for the Youth World Championships?
I’m training on the water several times a week, supported by a structured gym programme and conditioning sessions. I'll also compete in one or two regattas, including Sail Melbourne. I'm working on building strength and size, as Formula Kite tends to favour stronger and heavier athletes.

What are you hoping to achieve at the event?
To keep improving and build on my progress so far. My goal is to push into the gold fleet and achieve strong results at youth level.
