Through my dad.

The tight racing, both at home and overseas, and the great coaching we get.
Where is your favourite sailing spot?
Off Takapuna.
What is the proudest moment of your career so far?
Winning races at the Open Worlds - it felt amazing, and I want that feeling again at the Youth Worlds.
What are you hoping to achieve in the next 12 months?
To find a 470 crew (help, please!) and race against Geoff Woolley at the Sunburst Nationals.
What is your long-term sailing goal?
To compete at the Olympics and build a professional career in sailing.
Who are your role models?
Probably should be Dad but honestly, it's Mum and Dan Willcox.
What do you do when you're not sailing?
Golf.
And your favourite food?
Food is just genuinely pretty good.
What is your dream destination?
Italy.
How have you been preparing for the Youth World Championships?
With a solid plan, working closely with teammates, and plenty of good squad training.
