How did you first get into sailing?
My older siblings were both sailors, so I was always around it. One evening, I got to try an O'pen Skiff and enjoyed it, then had the chance to windsurf - that's when I really got hooked. After that, I started on the iQFOiL and haven't stopped since.

What is the best thing about sailing your class?
The speed.

Where is your favourite sailing spot?
Lake Garda.

What is the proudest moment of your career so far?
Winning the Youth Championships. I felt incredibly proud and grateful, and it was rewarding to see all my hard work pay off after a tough training block.

What are you hoping to achieve in the next 12 months?
A top-10 result at the Youth Worlds in Portugal in 2025 and a top-10 result at the iQ Games in Torbole in 2026.

What is your long-term sailing goal?
To win a Youth Worlds, compete at the Olympics, and eventually get involved with SailGP or the America's Cup.

Who are your role models?
Thomas Crook, Eli Liefting, and Aaron Macintosh.

What do you do when you're not sailing?
I try to be on the water in any way I can.

And your favourite food?
A big tub of ice cream.

What is your dream destination?
Big White, Canada.

How have you been preparing for the Youth World Championships?
Training five to six times a week on the water, hitting the gym at least four times a week, and managing my diet to reach the optimal weight for peak performance.
