How did you first get into sailing?
My dad introduced me to sailing when I was little as a hobby.
What is the best thing about sailing your class?
The friendships you make and the intensity of the racing.
Where is your favourite sailing spot?
Sardinia or New Zealand on a nice day.
What is the proudest moment of your career so far?
Probably the Youth Trials - it was an amazing feeling to see that all the hard work behind the scenes had paid off, and I got to do something I've wanted to do for a long time.
What are you hoping to achieve in the next 12 months?
A strong placing at Youth Worlds and to learn how to wingfoil.
What is your long-term sailing goal?
My goal is to reach the Olympics in the 49er FX, although I haven't yet reached the stage in life where I need to fully prepare for that.
Who are your role models?
Jenny Armstrong, Erica Dawson, and all other successful female sailors.
What do you do when you're not sailing?
Spending time with friends, wakeboarding, surfing, or swimming.
And your favourite food?
A pie.
What is your dream destination?
Western Australia or somewhere in the Mediterranean.
How have you been preparing for the Youth World Championships?
Eating well, training with purpose, making the most of each session, taking rest and theory days, and building strength and endurance in the gym.
