A Fundraising Cocktail Evening to be hosted at Emirates Team New Zealand base in Halsey Street, Viaduct Harbour will raise funds for the five young kiwis selected to represent New Zealand at the 2013 Optimist World Championships.
Leonard Takahashi-Fry, Alistair Gifford, Tom Fyffe, Harry Haslett and Nick Egnot-Johnson make up the New Zealand International Yacht Trust 2013 Optimist World’s Team are off to Lake Garda in Italy to compete against the world’s best Optimist sailors.
With Peter Montgomery as Master of Ceremonies and Chris Dickson as guest speaker the evening will feature a silent auction with amazing prizes.
