Richmond is a friendly yacht club for racing and cruising in Auckland.

We are located on the breakwater at Westhaven Marina, literally and figuratively at the heart of sailing in Auckland. We have a programme to suit every taste – whether you are interested in besting the opposition in round-the-buoys racing, a team player or a solo sailor. We have it all – social events, overnight cruises, passage sailing, BBQs, and beaches.

We are the home of the FRIDAY NIGHT SPECIAL - fun sailing experiences!

The series provides an opportunity for people that have little or no sailing experience to race on keel boats around the buoys in the beautiful Waitemata Harbour in a supportive, low-key environment. Experienced sailors that wish to get more sailing in or wish to try out a number of new boats are also encouraged to join.
