- The NEW and updated Coaching Pathway Poster and get into Coaching Brochures have now been printed and heading to your local sailing club. The posters and brochures outline the coaching pathway from Learn to Sail Coach through to Olympic Coach.
- The New Zealand Access Class Association is now accepting applications from clubs that are interested in hosting the 2014 NZ Access Class National Championships, and 2015 National Championships/ Kiwi Cup. These two regattas will be the feature pieces of New Zealand's Access Class domestic racing calendar.

- It’s all go for this premier annual event! Bouncing back from last year’s Rena cancellation, this year is shaping up to be a beauty. TYPBC has topped up their wind account and are looking for a quick race. With the support of RNZYS, the race kicks off at 1000 March 28th from the Squadron start line outside Westhaven.
- The Police Sailing Association is extending an invitation to anyone who would like to take part in a Sailing Regatta on FRIDAY the 19th April 2013 The Regatta will take place on the Auckland Harbour. 11 mile inner harbour course with a prize giving at the Richmond Yacht Club afterwards.
- Hamilton Yacht Club celebrates its 75th Jubilee over April 12 and 13 coinciding with the closing regatta for the season. The Club has produced many champions despite operating on possibly the smallest piece of water in the country. Lake Rotoroa is 156 acres, nominally about the size of Westhaven, but the area available for sailing is considerably less, given the shallow areas around the shores and the areas best avoided because of wind shadows cast by trees.
