With all three NZL Sailing Team Laser campaigners, and New Zealand’s best up-and-comers, to be joined by top international competitors from Australia, Sweden, Ireland, Norway, Singapore, the Netherlands and Korea the scene is set for an almighty battle to determine who will be 2014 Oceanbridge Sail Auckland champion in the men’s single-handed Laser event.

Sailors intending to sail at 2014 Oceanbridge Sail Auckland have just Days left to enter on line. Registration for this ISAF 100 point regatta closes on Friday 24 January.

Today it was announced that NZL Sailing Team sailors Peter Burling and Blair Tuke have signed with Emirates Team New Zealand as the team move towards mounting a campaign for the 35th America’s Cup.

Current World Champions Peter Burling and Blair Tuke (49er) and Molly Meech and Alex Maloney (49erFX) each completed a good series to retain their national titles in the 49er and 49erFX respectively at the New Zealand Championships Regatta sailed in Auckland from the Royal Akarana Yacht Club over the weekend of 11-12 January 2014.
