- PHRF and IRC certificates will expire on 31 May and boat owners are encouraged to prepare for revalidating for the new season, especially if you are planning to race in June.
- We have now finished the second regatta of our trip. Hyeres turned on the weather, giving us sun, good winds, waves, and great racing. We were very happy to come away after 18 races in second place overall.
- Hi from Barcelona airport – waiting for our flight to Qingdao, China. We’re both stoked with this trip to Europe- winning both our 49er World cup regattas – both with two races to spare. Topping the podium is a feeling you don’t get tired of.
The Secondary School Team Sailing Nationals got off to a bright and breezy start this week at Sandspit Yacht Club, Algies Bay.

- Ten yachts sailed over two days at the Takapuna Boating Club Anzac Regatta. Other classes were boards, 420 and F18. Only boards had a bigger fleet. Derek Snow #88 (Wakatere) with three wins, won the regatta over seven races ahead of Mike Jones #188 (Manly) and Phil Ash #111 (Manly).
