- Steinhuder Meer produced its best for the second day of racing at the OK Dinghy European Championship with two races held in glorious sunshine, with wall to wall blue skies and 10-12 knots of warm wind. Defending champion Bo Petersen (DEN) has taken the lead from Andre Budzien (GER) and Greg Wilcox (NZL). Race wins went to Budzien, Jorgen Svendsen (DEN), Jorgen Lindhardtsen (DEN) and Jim Hunt (GBR).
- In early August the NZL Sailing Team will be competing at one of this year’s most significant events on the journey towards the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
- Following on from the success of the inaugural Volvo National Sailing and Boating Day the second edition will take place on the 1st February 2015.

- We have mixed emotions about our time in Helsinki. A week on from the 2014 Europeans the dust has settled, and we are able to see our strengths and weaknesses more clearly - our performance over the competition had its highs and lows, but we are happy with a 3rd place.

- Yachting New Zealand’s June Commodores’ Conference held in Auckland was attended by a representative from over 70 member clubs around New Zealand. An electronic Handbook from the Conference has been compiled and is now available for download here from the Yachting New Zealand website.
