Yachting New Zealand is proud to announce that we have partnered with Melanoma New Zealand as our official charity to help raise awareness about the importance of early detection and prevention of melanoma among our sailing community.
Yachting New Zealand is urging Auckland yachties and boaties to avoid racing on the Waitematā Harbour this weekend, as raw wastewater continues to pour into it at an unprecedented rate following the collapse of a sewerage pipe in Parnell.
The start of the New Zealand youth championships has been postponed to Sunday and the regatta moved to Murrays Bay Sailing Club, following the closure of beaches due to wastewater flowing into the Waitematā Harbour.
