- Racing continued at the 2014 ISAF Sailing World Championships in Santander, Spain today where Peter Burling and Blair Tuke have made a strong start to lead the 49er class.
- On a day where 35 races were to be sailed at the 2014 ISAF Sailing World Championships in Santander, Spain, just two were possible due to the continuing light wind weather pattern.
- Emirates Team New Zealand has won Act 6 of the Extreme Sailing series today in Istanbul in the dramatic final race of the regatta.
- The Hauraki Singlehanded Series (HSS) links singlehanded races from five Auckland-area clubs into a fun and competitive series. The 2014-15 HSS will consist of seven races from October to April, with a range of racing - from no-extras harbour courses to the challenging 66nm Route 66 race to Whangarei. All skippers and boats are welcome to join!
- The countdown is on to the annual Auckland regatta which farewells winter and welcomes summer. The STACK Winter Champs are on 3rd – 5th October.
- Richmond Yacht Club runs a series of eight races over the summer months for adults who would like to experience "a taste of sailing", or who have experience and are looking to find a place as crew on a boat.
- Jo Aleh and Polly Powrie started racing today on what was another light air day in Santander where the 2014 ISAF Sailing World Championships are on. Highlights for the NZL Sailing Team today include Natalia Kosinska breaking into the top ten going 3, 4 and Andy Maloney storming up the Laser leader board winning today’s only gold fleet race.
- On day two of the 2014 ISAF Sailing World Championships in Santander the Laser, Radial, and men’s and women’s windsurfers were on the water doing battle in the qualifying rounds for their respective world titles.
- Racing started today in the single handed Laser and Radial classes at the 2014 ISAF Sailing World Championships in Santander on the northern coast of Spain.
