- Tomorrow Jo Aleh and Polly Powrie will battle to defend their world title at the 2014 ISAF Sailing World Championships drawing to a close in Santander, Spain. Peter Burling and Blair Tuke have two days remaining but continue to lead in the 49er. Both Andrew Murdoch and Josh Junior are into the top ten in the Finn class, as are multihull duo Gemma Jones and Jason Saunders.
- The racing season got off to a good start on 14 September, with ten trailer yachts enjoying close racing in 20 knot winds and a 1.5 m sea.
- A strong wind of around 25 knots delivered some stunning racing for the 470 fleets. Conditions which keep other fleets ashore were perfectly sailable for 470s, with gusts up to 30 knots just adding to the thrill of the ride this morning. The breeze eased off a bit this afternoon as the 470 Women finished gold fleet race 8 and the 470 Men got their gold fleet races 5 and 6 underway.
