- It’s time to plan your entry for the 2015 NZ Open Keelboat National Championships.
- The 2015 NZ Women’s Keelboat championships will be held on the 28th & 29th March 2015 and will be run by the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron.
- Tide dictated that Pleasant Point Club Yacht Club in Christchurch run their Volvo National Sailing Day on Saturday 31 January, but that didn’t deter the public who were able to try sailing in a variety of yachts.
- East Coast Juniorsail was held at the Wairoa Yacht Club in lovely sailing conditions.
- Titahi Bay Boating Club did a great job of hosting the recent Wellington Optisail.
- Hot weather and great winds greeted the 20 sailors involved in this year’s three day Optisail live in camp hosted by New Plymouth Yacht Club.
- It’s the time of year that people start to consider moving boats to and from New Zealand as well as around the coast.
- Waiheke Boating Club was represented as usual by the Island Dinghy Sailing Squad down the western end of Oneroa Beach on Sunday 1st Feb. The weather was grey and drizzly but the water was warm and enthusiasm high.
