  • Auckland Grammar School has won the 2015 Secondary Schools Team Sailing National Championships, hosted by Lake Taupo Yacht Club (13-15 April) after placing second at last year’s event. Previous long-time winner, Kerikeri High School came second, ahead of Marlborough Boys’ College.

  • Today marks two years to go until the World Masters Games 2017 kicks off in Auckland. It will be the day that 25000 masters athletes come together from all over the world to march in the opening ceremony on 21 April 2017.

  • Over the past 18 months, the CIORC committee has undertaken a full review of PHRF and as a result the following changes have been implemented for the upcoming 2015-16 season. CIORC are confident that these changes will make PHRF more user-friendly, will increase PHRF fleets and ensure fairer racing. These changes will take effect from 1st June 2015.
