  • Jo Aleh and Polly Powrie added another race win at the 2015 470 European Championships in Arhus, Denmark and end the qualifying rounds of the six day regatta in 2nd overall just one point behind Israel’s Cohen and Maman.

  • Scots College is seeking to appoint a Director of Sailing.

    This will be a part time position of approximately 20 hours per week primarily between the months of October and March.

  • The Optimist class provides opportunities for many young sailors to travel and compete overseas, representing New Zealand in four major overseas regattas - these being Optimist Worlds, Optimist Europeans, Optimist North Americans and Optimist Asian Championship Regattas.

  • Auckland is known is as the City of Sails and nestled on the shores of it’s beautiful Hauraki Gulf is the Murrays Bay Sailing Club (MBSC).  With some of the best sailing waters in the country the club has a proud history and enviable track record of producing performance sailors.

  • A new Coastguard Coastal Medic Course has been announced for the weekend of 29 and 30 August 2015. Coastal Medic is a prerequisite to the more advance Offshore Medic.  As well as its marine applications, this course exceeds the Health and Safety requirements of “two day workplace first aid”, so has many commercial usages.

  • Thinking of doing an offshore next season??? Now is the time of the year to square away an Advanced Sea Survival Course. Wellington Ocean Sports next course will be running over the weekend of Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 August 2015.
