Yachting New Zealand have been running a number of courses successfully online over the past couple of years, and will run the keelboat coach course online for the first time from next week.
The pilot course, which will be held on Zoom and will be led by Northland-based Yachting New Zealand coach developer Julie Kidman, will be run over two evenings (Nov 9 & 11, 7pm-9pm). Participants will still need to complete an on-water component to be certified, which can be arranged at a later date.
The online section of the course will cost $80 and the on-water cost will vary depending on the region it's done.
